Hrafnir, Legacy Horse-lord Dagger

This heirloom dagger, ready to be passed down through generations, is a fine example of Horse-lord craftsmanship—both utilitarian and noble in form.

  • Blade:
The blade is forged from dark steel with a narrow fuller running down its center, its blade honed to a razor edge. Its surface gleams subtly with a brushed finish, while deeply engraved motifs evoke Celtic whispers at the base of the blade, all the while bearing the emblem of the smith who crafted it.
  • Guard and Pommel:
Both the guard and the pommel are fashioned from custom cast brass, now brushed to a hint of golden brown patina.
    • The guard sits comfortably on the blade, engraved with stylized horse heads at one side end, and twin ravens sat on the other.
    • The pommel is solid and heavy, providing balance and weight to the blade, counter pointing its sharp edge. Shined on the grip, it contrasts nicely with the textured end where the tang of the blade was peened on securely.
  • Grip:
Wrapped in dark and royal red leather over carved ashwood, the grip bears yet no sign of usage, and yet remains sturdy. Laced carefully for a secure grip, and highlighted by extra texture to ensure it stays easily in the hand..

This dagger would likely have belonged to a warrior of noble blood—someone who cherished both the traditions of the Horse-lords and the freedom of the wild. Its weight and form speak not only of utility but also of legacy, duty, and honor.
