In the build video, I take on a one-day forge challenge—turning a massive dozer bolt into a KA-BAR style knife. Starting with a chunk of heavy equipment steel, I try to forge, grind, heat treat, and finish the blade all within 10 hours.
Having fun in the forge and timing myself doing it. Dozer bolts are tough, unknown (to me) steel, so every step is a risk. Will it harden properly? Will it crack? Or will it become a functional, battle-ready blade?
