King's Dagger: A legacy dagger with Damascus steel and brass fittings is a blade that blends historical craftsmanship with timeless elegance.

Blade:
The dagger features a Damascus steel blade, distinguished by its rippling, water-like patterns—a result of forge-welding multiple layers of high-carbon steel. These intricate lines are not just decorative but also symbolize the strength and resilience forged through fire and hammer. The blade has a slight taper, with a central fuller running the length of the double edge, enhancing both its visual symmetry and structural integrity, while lightening the blade for a fine balance.

Guard and Pommel:
At the base of the blade, a brass crossguard gleams with a soft golden hue, etched slightly to a rich, antique patina. The fittings are finely engraved with a textured inset, contrasting the polished raised portions. Cast and engraved by myself.

Grip:
The handle is crafted from dark hardwood called wenge, flanked by brass guard and pommel with a through tang that secure the hilt firmly. The grip is shaped to fit comfortably in hand—slightly ovoid, with subtle ridges for control and finesse. Over time, the wood will have absorbed the warmth of its wielder's hands, giving it a worn, burnished character.

Pommel:
The pommel is a solid brass cap, slightly rounded and faceted, with a cast/hammered finish on its end. It balances the dagger's weight perfectly, making it both a ceremonial object and a blade ready for use.

Such a dagger isn't merely a tool—it's a symbol of heritage, skill, and tradition, passed down not just for its function, but for the stories it carries.
