Forged from steel and shaped by the spirit of the Norse lands, this blade is my interpretation of what a katana might have become if its story had begun among northern fjords, ancient forests, and frozen mountains rather than the islands of Japan.
The familiar sweeping profile of the katana is reimagined with a distinctly Nordic character, and that means rugged, powerful, and purposeful. Every element of the blade was designed to feel as though it belongs to a culture that valued both craftsmanship and survival.
This is not a historical reproduction.
It is a what-if blade. Its a meeting of two legendary traditions, brought together through the craft of the bladesmith.
From the forging of the steel to the shaping, grinding, heat treatment, and finishing, this blade was made by hand in my forge. The result is a one-of-a-kind piece built not simply to be admired, but to tell a story.
